In 2003 CONDOR® Custom Solutions was founded, at that time still under the name HJS GmbH & Co. KG. As a leading producer and service provider for wire eroding and milling technology, the company is the ideal partner for Condor MedTec GmbH, previously Condor® GmbH Medicaltechnik, manufacturer of precision medical equipment.
As one of the leading service providers for wire eroding technology, milling technology and surface treatment Condor® Custom Solutions places a strategically central function on personnel development. The ardent commitment of our employees is one of the company’s most important factors for success. In a climate distinguished by mutual inspiration and technical competency, our staff grows continuously to meet new challenges.

Today, we produce on 2,300 square metres in Salzkotten and are constantly growing. For example, the storage and production area of the Condor Groupis currently being increased to around 3,100 square metresthrough the construction of a new hall.

BUSINESS AWARD GOES TO SALZKOTTEN
The Condor Group is awarded the "Großer Preis des Mittelstandes" prize.
The Condor Group were honored by the Oskar Patzelt Foundation 2023. A total of 4,075 companies as well as banks and municipalities were nominated for the competition this year.
The Condor Group had the pleasure of receiving the award for first place in the whole of NRW at the Business Ball at the Maritim Hotel at Düsseldorf Airport. "Starting in a garage, the company celebrated its 25th anniversary last year. The company is active worldwide and is a pioneer in the individual production of retractor systems for medicine. The medium-sized company and the founding and owning Schulte family are also very committed to society," says Dr. Helfried Schmidt, explaining the reason for the award.
The foundation focuses on medium-sized companies. Despite crisis-ridden global economic and macroeconomic developments, the entrepreneurial SME sector has created millions of new and additional jobs in recent years. However, these tremendous achievements are hardly perceived by the public. The aim is therefore to improve the public image of SME entrepreneurs, to raise public awareness of the connection between "healthy SMEs - strong economy - more jobs", to popularize examples of success and to create sustainable networks among SMEs.

We use air, water and energy resources responsibly and focus on optimized disposal processes. The Salzkotten site, which was built in 2012, was also equipped with an energy-efficient air-source heat pump and a photovoltaic system. In this way, ecologically generated energy can be used directly and excess energy can be fed into the power grid. The construction of the building according to KFW 40 standard was a matter of course for us.
