"We are an internationally active company that bears responsibility for families in the region," says Hermann-Josef Schulte. "Now we are taking another important step for the smooth transition of the company to the next generation." The company founder emphasises that this is particularly important to him, "as it ensures that short decision-making paths and the company philosophy characterised by responsible action are maintained in the long term".
The management trio has consistently pursued its course of innovation in the recent past: For example, the Condor Group has expanded its machinery (in the area of wire erosion technology), firmly established the 3D printing process with the highest quality standards in its service portfolio and become involved as a co-initiator of the OWL 3D network in order to support 3D printing expertise "from SMEs for SMEs" in the region. In addition, the company is currently building a new hall that will increase the production and storage area by 800 to 3100 square metres. "This will optimise our production processes and create further opportunities for growth," explains Dominik Schulte. "We see ourselves as being both Condor MedTec and Condor Custom Solutions ideally positioned for the opportunities and challenges of the future. A special focus will be placed on automation in the coming years. "With a new autonomous milling centre, we will be able to offer our customers even more manufacturing options in the future and better position ourselves in the market," explains Sebastian Ilsen, Operations Manager.
Mayor Ulrich Berger is also pleased about the new expansions in Huchtfeld. "The Condor Group is a constantly growing and innovative company. Creating a modern, productive and energy-efficient production and storage area also means generating new jobs, strengthening the local economy and making Salzkotten more attractive as a location. From a medical point of view, it also offers the best conditions for the local hospital and the doctors' surgeries in the east of Salzkotten .
This also applies to the Corona pandemic: Despite the necessary expansion of digital distribution within a very short time, it was possible under the extraordinary circumstances to successfully launch another premium product group made in Germany - the Rotex table - on the Japanese market. "Staying agile in a complex world - this is particularly important in times of rapid change. The Condor Group has once again demonstrated its ability to do this," remarks Ira Fecke-Schulte. So far, there have been no serious cases of illness or production stoppages due to the pandemic. "Thanks to home office solutions, high-quality masks, shift work, the discipline of all employees and a test bus twice a week, business operations have been able to continue so far," says Fecke-Schulte.
The Condor Group also contributed to the fight against the virus with the help of 3D printing - together with other companies and the Direct Manufacturing Research Center (DMRC) of the University of Paderborn. The result was a donation of protective "faceshields" to local hospitals.
Condor was founded in 1997 by Maria and Hermann-Josef Schulte . Maria Schulte : "Our corporate culture has always combined a passion for innovation with perfection and precision, with respect for the performance of our employees and with a practical orientation towards the needs of our customers. I am pleased that our children will comprehensively continue this lived tradition."
