With its numerous small and large companies, the region Eastern-Westphalia-Lippe (OWL) has extensive experience in additive manufacturing. We want to bundle the competencies around the topic in OWL.

At Condor, we look forward to using this initiative to establish additive manufacturing to medium-sized companies in the future. In addition to Condor, the following network partners have so far been part of the 3D printing initiative: Additive Marking GmbH, Direct Manufacturing Research Center (DMRC), Krause DiMaTec GmbH.
We want to establish and promote additive manufacturing as a whole in the region, as we believe it will bring numerous benefits to companies in the region. We would like to sensitize and inform decision-makers for 3D printing in a professional and neutral way.
3D printing is a new and complex topic. We want to make it tangible for medium-sized companies and therefore work according to the motto: From medium-sized companies for medium-sized companies! Additive manufacturing requires different knowledge than is required for conventional manufacturing processes. Together with our partners, we qualify designers and other roles in the additive process chain in medium-sized companies.
OWL is characterized by numerous start-ups, SMEs, traditional companies and top-class research. However, the extensive knowledge of 3D printing available in the region is often bundled in islands. We would like to stimulate the exchange of knowledge through strong networking in the region.
