A focus on technologies of the future at the University of Paderborn Additive manufacturing, also known as 3D printing, was the focus of an event at the University of Paderborn that took place on July 2, 2019; the event was also the venue where the recently established Paderborn Institute for Additive Manufacturing (PIAF) was introduced. In various presentations and workshops, experts informed the audience about the possibilities and applications of this trending technology as well as various funding programs.
